Part of an elite group, we are Certified Tile Installers. The (CTI) Program was launched in 2008 as a way to measure the best quality tile installers in the United States. Tile Works by Rich and Sons wants to make sure your tile is installed correctly the first time, exhibits the highest quality workmanship, and will perform for years to come.

Best Certified Tile Installers – (CTI) Program

As a family owned business, Rich Hernandez prides himself in the reputation the company has built over time. Rich’s sons Richie, Ryan, and Robert also work in the family business. Over the past ten years they have gained more responsibility within the business as well as on site, managing the clients and training on best practices.

Richie, Ryan, and Robert have all earned the highest certification in the industry. They are Certified Tile Installers and use the national standards when installing tile using best practices learned through the (CTI) Program.

The (CTI) program includes comprehensive testing of the skills, knowledge and experience as tile installers which includes a multiple-choice exam and a hands-on test. Both are based on current industry standards and best practices for producing a sound installation that exhibits good workmanship. The tests, therefore, require that both the observable and non-observable characteristics of a finished installation are executed properly.
